On Tuesday May 10th 2016, Sociabble will be at an event organized by Microsoft Azure for research and higher education institutions. Guney Degerli, Client Strategy Manager at Sociabble, will explore how universities can use brand advocacy to empower staff, students and alumni as ambassadors on social media.
Social media is one of the main channels universities use to share the latest news, events and academic publications. By engaging staff, students and alumni to share content with their own social networks they can boost this activity, while at the same time tapping into new audiences in order to increase their reputation on an international scale, attract prospective students, and boost credibility in the eyes of companies looking to recruit new graduates.

During the presentation Guney Degerli will discuss the importance of engaging staff, student and alumni communities on social media, and will demonstrate how the Sociabble brand advocacy platform better enables academic institutions to do this.
Built on the Microsoft Azure Cloud, Sociabble aggregates content from company communication channels and curation tools, while users themselves can also propose content. Universities on Sociabble can organize content onto themed channels according to the interests of staff, students and alumni, making it easy for these three user groups to access relevant content, and to share it with their own social media connections at the click of a button. Sociabble has helped academic institutions such as HEC Paris, Skema Business School and Insead Business School to launch brand advocacy programs.
