The India Communication Summit 2024 (ICS), hosted by ET BrandEquity, was a pivotal event for communication professionals across the industry. This year’s summit focused on exploring the latest trends and tackling key challenges in the field of communications. 

With rapid changes in India’s communication landscape, driven by new technologies and shifting expectations, we were excited to see a real focus on internal communications at this year’s summit. The summit featured insightful discussions on managing internal messaging, enhancing employee engagement, and leveraging the right tools to streamline organizational communication. It was a great opportunity for industry leaders to come together and address the complexities of modern communication. 

The summit featured some of the most influential voices in communication today, including Sudeep Bhalla, Head of Corporate Communications at TATA Motors; Aahana Dhar, Country Director of Communications at Tinder; and Manisha Singh, Corporate Vice President and Head of Corporate Communications at Max Life Insurance, among others. While some took the stage to shed light on the role of AI and digital tools in reshaping the communication industry, others offered their perspectives on the growing importance of streamlining internal communications within organizations. 

We, at Sociabble, were thrilled to attend the event. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to engage with industry leaders and witness a strong focus on internal communications.

It’s about more than just attracting talent; it’s about engaging them effectively, especially when it comes to Gen Z. Tailoring content to match different audiences based on their location, role, and personal preferences is crucial. Engaging Gen Z requires a nuanced approach that resonates with their values and communication styles, ensuring your employer brand stands out in a crowded market. 
  2. The Role of AI: The conversation around AI in communications was crystal clear: AI is not just a fleeting trend, but a powerful force set to move mountains in the field of internal comms. As one of the pioneers in investing in and developing advanced AI capabilities, Sociabble was thrilled to discuss some of the key features we’ve integrated into our platform. From auto-translating content into 60+ regional languages, to generating smart tailored content with effective prompts, it was a great opportunity to share how we’re using these innovations to completely transform communication.

Successful brand collaborations with influencers come from respecting and amplifying their unique voices rather than stifling them. This principle also applies to Employee Advocacy, where empowering employees to share their authentic perspectives can drive meaningful engagement and results.

Investing in a well-informed, engaged team isn’t just smart—it’s essential for driving business success. Effective internal communication isn’t just about sending messages; it’s about creating a dynamic, motivated team that’s all in sync. It’s exciting to see how this critical area is evolving and becoming a key factor in organizational success.

The India Communication Summit 2024 was a momentous occasion for Sociabble as we celebrated a double triumph! Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), one of our most valued clients, won the Best Use of Analytics award, marking a significant achievement in their communication strategy. 

TCS’s success story is a testament to the power of innovative strategies and the effective use of analytics. By harnessing Sociabble’s advanced platform, TCS improved their content distribution, streamlined internal comms, and significantly boosted their conversion rates.
